Frontline Health Workers

We work on capacity building of frontline health workers, the first link to essential health services in remote areas.

Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs), Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) and Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) work in a common geographical area to provide primary healthcare and nutrition services to people within the same community. Although each of the three workers has a well-defined role, they share a common objective of ensuring the health and well-being of the community they serve. Therefore, a convergence of efforts of the three healthcare workers is necessary for improved health outcomes.
