ARMMAN has been awarded 2nd Runner Up at the Koita Foundation Tech Awards 2025 in the category of AI for Social Impact.
The award recognises ARMMAN’s multilingual, multimodal AI-powered WhatsApp chatbot, developed in partnership with ARTPARK. The chatbot supports frontline health workers to identify and manage high-risk pregnancies through a systematic, protocol-led approach. It also serves as an on-the-job learning and support tool, helping resolve clinical doubts, strengthen skills, and build confidence in managing complex cases.
Selected from over 60 nonprofit innovations across India, the Koita Foundation Tech Awards celebrate AI solutions delivering measurable impact across health, education, climate resilience, citizen engagement, and access to services.
We thank the Koita Foundation team and the esteemed jury for this recognition, and congratulate fellow awardees Adalat AI, Vowels of the People Association (VOPA), SEEDS, Civis (Civic Innovation Foundation), Farmers for Forests (F4F), and SNEHA (Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action).
This recognition reflects the collective efforts of our funders, donors, partners, and the ARMMAN team, and strengthens our commitment to leveraging AI to improve maternal and child health outcomes and expand equitable access to care.
