Whether you're an existing donor or new, considering making a donation, find the following answers of the most frequently asked questions.

  • ARE MY DONATIONS TAX EXEMPT?

    Yes.

    *In India: We are a tax exempt non-profit organization under section 80G of the Income tax act (ORDER No. DIT(E)/MC/80G/1093/2009-2010)

    *In the US :We are a registered under Inland Revenue Section 501(c)(3), which makes your donations tax exempt. (EIN number: 27-1523964).

  • IS MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION SECURE?

    Armman  takes every precaution to protect our donors’ information. When donors submit sensitive information via the Web site, your information is protected both online and offline. We use paypal (for ARMMAN USA) and CC Avenue (for ARMMAN India), globally trusted payment gateways to process online donations, which guarantees security for the information you provide.

  • HOW DOES ARMMAN USE FUNDS DONATED TO IT?

    All the funds go to tech-based, community-driven maternal and child health care projects in India, where it is needed the most. ARMMAN USA is completely run by volunteers with zero overheads. All the funds donated to ARMMAN India go to the projects directly that you have donated for.

     

  • MY DONATION WAS DENIED. WHY?

    If your donation failed, it is likely that the information provided did not match exactly what is on file at your bank. We suggest you contact your financial institution. For further assistance, please e-mail armmanindia@armman.org. To expedite a response please include the date, amount and type of credit card used.

     

  • CAN I MAKE AUTOMATIC CREDIT CARD DONATIONS?

    Yes, you can click on the Donate Monthly tab on the Donation page or email armmanindia@armman.org and we will assist you further.

     

  • WHY DO YOU REQUIRE MY EMAIL ADDRESS?

    Your email address is required so we can send you a proper acknowledgment of your gift. Details of your donation are found in this email, which you can print or save for tax purposes.

  • WHAT IS THE CARD SECURITY CODE?

    The Card Security Code (CSC) is a 3- or 4-digit number printed on your credit card. It provides added security when you use your card on the Internet or over the phone. The number appears only on the card itself, not on receipts or statements.

  • WHY DO YOU REQUIRE A MINIMUM DONATION AMOUNT OF $5 OR RS.200?

    Like any other online credit card processing system we are charged by credit card companies. We don’t want donors’ well-intended gift to be offset by processing fees.

  • I MADE A DONATION ONLINE AND NOW I HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT IT. WHO CAN I CONTACT?

  • HOW DO I CANCEL A RECURRING DONATION?

    Please contact your bank and instruct them to cancel the relevant recurring payment made to our organization.

  • DO YOU REFUND ANY DONATIONS I HAVE MADE?

    All transactions made are not refundable nor transferable.
