Roles & Responsibilities

Budgeting and Financial Planning

  • Provide strategic recommendations and direction to the leadership of ARMMAN on long term planning
  • Managing and guiding the processes for financial budgets and forecasting
  • Establishing and developing relations with external partners and stakeholders of ARMMAN
  • Guide the development and implementation of systems for reporting, measurement and support fund raising.
  • Work with the leadership team to optimize resources between different areas based on organizational priorities and impact e.g. reallocating budgets, but within overall approved resources for the year.
  • Ensure an effective and efficient financial model is maintained
  • Sign off capital expenditure within budget. This includes approving purchase or sell decisions for desktop computers, laptops, departmental equipment etc.

Risk Management

  • Understand, forecast, strategize and mitigate key elements of the organisation & risk profile and ensure appropriate financial controls.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance to all legal and regulatory standards (legal, tax, accounting, auditing)

Operations

  • Oversee the preparation of all financial records and reporting including MIS, donor reporting etc.
  • Guiding the team to build an accounting system that provides the organisation with quick access to financial information
  • Report finance statements to the board members in the meetings
  • Digitise the finance function to make its functioning more efficient and effective
  • Define and prepare policies required for effectively managing Finance
  • Manage team through coaching, mentoring and continuous feedback and guidance

Job Specifications

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in leading and managing the finance and accounts function
  • A qualified Chartered Accountant. Added qualification of Company Secretary/LLB would be preferred, though not absolutely essential.
  • High level of competency in financial and tax matters as well as managing audits and compliance matters
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Excel. Ability to manage/ accurately process large financial data and analyse financial information effectively
  • Strong general IT infrastructure knowledge
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in forecasting and process improvement
  • High standards of integrity, ethics and professionalism
  • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Developing strategies and setting goals to hit fundraising targets, including corpus and program funding
  • To develop a portfolio of donors including institutional, corporate, HNIs, foundations and trusts to achieve the revenue target set by the organization
  • Acquiring new partnerships and donors for increasing organization’s resources
    Writing and presenting proposals
  • Relationship management with existing donors and responding to their requests regularly and keep updating them about the work of the organization
  • Identifying and anchoring new initiatives related to resource mobilization
  • Building and managing a network of individual donors
  • Planning and executing fundraising events

Experience

Minimum two years of experience of demonstrable success in securing funding for charitable or NGO activities from a variety of funding streams including grants, CSR, individual donations and charity events.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Management and implementation of activities for Kilkari & Mobile Academy programs in accordance with the mission and vision of the organization
  • Developing and retaining cordial and excellent relations with all the stakeholders involved in the programs at grassroot level, i.e, NHM officials, frontline health workers and beneficiaries
  • Organizing and coordinating with state nodals on capacity building sessions, field-visits and other activities, as required
  • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding programs’ issues and decisions on services
  • Providing strategic inputs to overall program implementation of both mHealth interventions
  • Developing monthly and quarterly plans for state/ district/ block/ site visits based on monthly performance data
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout the programs’ life-cycle
  • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved
  • Analyzing program risks basis data and proposing mitigation strategies to the organization
  • Collecting case studies from the field
  • Supporting other team members in research work, technical implementation of activities/UAT and MIS analysis
  • Any other work assigned by the organization

Job Specification

  • MSW/ MPH or equivalent qualification from a reputed university
  • Minimum 5 years of program experience implementing public health programs on the field, coordinating with health officials and conducting meetings and trainings. Prior experience working with government officials will be an added advantage.
  • Open for travel within the state and to other program locations. Travel may happen on short notice.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in local language spoken in state, along with proven stakeholder management skills
  • Competency in MS-Office applications such as Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook etc.
